Hewett Academy Swimming Pool has been an important home for Little Fish Swim School Norwich for more than eight years, providing a full 25-metre pool where swimmers can build confidence, develop technique and progress into stronger, more independent swimming.
The facility is now temporarily closed as part of the major redevelopment of Hewett Academy, with the existing swimming-pool building being retained, refurbished and upgraded alongside new teaching and sports facilities across the school.
When it reopens, Little Fish families can look forward to returning to an improved facility designed to support learn-to-swim lessons, school swimming, longer-distance development and wider community use.
The 25m pool gives swimmers the space to progress naturally through the Little Fish journey; from building confidence in deeper water and refining all four strokes, through to achieving 25 metres, improving stamina and becoming truly comfortable across a full-length pool.
