The 18m x 10m pool, with depths ranging from approximately 0.95m to 1.65m, provides an excellent environment for swimmers at different stages of their journey.

Younger and less-confident swimmers can develop their skills in shallower water, while progressing swimmers have the space and depth to improve technique, stamina and independence.

Little Fish offers classes at Thorpe across a range of abilities, giving families greater choice when finding the right lesson and allowing swimmers to continue progressing through our four-stage Little Fish pathway as their confidence and ability develop.

As with every Little Fish lesson, children are encouraged to progress when they are genuinely ready, rather than being held to rigid assessment periods or a one-size-fits-all approach.
